the new random genes button makes new genes. it asks what percentage of gene entries are random. 100.0 is completely new random genes
the number of genes is how many genes there are after that button is clicked.
the mutations per genes is how many entries of each new gene are random.
the keep button keeps the rule. the replace button replaces it with a new rule.

two parents are chosen at random to make the new rule. the new rule, copies random entries from both parents. you would use the keep button if a rule is good otherwise you would use the replace button to replace it with a different rule.

the save button saves the genes.
the open button opens the genes.
