the edit keys window lets you edit the keys. you can go to "view->show the keys" to see what each key does. To edit a key, enter a new letter in any text fields then click on apply.
the save options and keys button saves both the options and the keys to a file

ou can save the file as your_own_keys_and_option.txt and then run java -jar cellauto.jar -o your_own_keys_and_option.txt from the command line. there is a combobox letting you choose between old keys, new keys or custom keys.
old keys are the keys used in versions 1.7 and earlier.
new keys are the keys used in the current version
custom keys are keys that load from a custom options.txt file
